Indian State flags edit

Hi Mx. Clarks. These flags that you're adding appear to be fanciful renderings of your own. Would you mind not doing that? Please do note that Wikipedia is a reliably sourced site and not a vehicle to showcase your creativity.--RegentsPark (comment) 19:52, 10 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps I am wrong and these flags are really proposed flags and not your own creations. Regardless, you can't add them to articles since they are not recognized as representatitve flags of the states. --RegentsPark (comment) 20:04, 10 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@RegentsPark Did you find anything contrary? — DaxServer (talk to me) 20:34, 10 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Not really. According to List of Indian state flags, a couple of states have proposed flags so, perhaps, these are not just Mx. Clarks' creations. Regardless, they should not be in state articles and, ideally, not without source on commons.--RegentsPark (comment) 20:56, 10 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks @RegentsPark Mx. Clarks (talk)

Warning edit

Mx. Clarks, I see you're still adding these "proposed" flags. Please be aware that you will be blocked if you continue to do so. --RegentsPark (comment) 22:23, 10 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

by whom? Mx. Clarks (talk) 22:53, 10 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

While you uploaded the flags and added them to the articles, with good intentions I believe, Wikipedia requires verification of the content. Your additions failed verification, which is why you can't add them to articles. Please read about five pillars of Wikipedia.
Just like how Reddit, Discord and other discussion/community platforms have moderators, we have administrators. You can read more here: Wikipedia:Administrators. RegentsPark is one of them. If you are here to share your creativity, Wikipedia might not be the platform you are looking for. — DaxServer (talk to me) 07:43, 11 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ok, so what do you suggest I do instead of creativity with good intentions?, Thanks!Mx. Clarks (talk)

Speedy deletion nomination of Surveying and Mapping (Amendment) Bill, 2020 edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Surveying and Mapping (Amendment) Bill, 2020 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://surveyofpakistan.gov.pk/NewsDetail/YTg4NDkzYTUtMDRmMi00NDVhLTljOGYtMTY5YmY2YTI1YjUx. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello. I am Diannaa and I am a Wikipedia administrator. Prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the copyright policy of this website to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. The Wikipedia copyright policy and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policy.
