Created the company page for Plastometrex Ltd. edit

Hi Mvqr, I'm still learning how to work on Wikipedia. Plastometrex is a company that invented a novel way of mechanical testing of metals that didn't exist before. Ultimately, I want to make a page on the testing technique itself, though for practice it seemed reasonable to start with the company page. I thought I followed the guidelines, though if this is not the case I apologise and will try to improve in the future. In this case, why is the company page deemed not important enough? Since there are other company pages of all types of companies, small and big, active and foreclosed. Just so I can understand and not make the same mistake twice. Thank you and keep up the great work! --Vilnix (talk) 13:44, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Vilnix: it is a small startup, why do you think it is notable? Read Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) for the notability criteria for company, what you need is multiple high-quality independent sources covering it in detail.--Mvqr (talk) 14:59, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Indeed, apologies for my ignorance. I'm starting to understand it all more and will do better in the future! --Vilnix (talk) 15:17, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

how can you call the biggest movie database untrustworthy? edit

How is it possible that the most popular movie database (imdb) is not a reliable source? it's even more reliable than wikipedia if you ask me since random people cannot add random info to it — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eliez148 (talkcontribs) 14:07, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Eliez148: read Wikipedia:Citing IMDb. –Ctrlwiki (talk) 14:11, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
The short summary is that imdb is similar to Wikipedia in that it is largely user generated.--Mvqr (talk) 14:18, 16 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
