KTNW (and other articles) and File:NWPB logo 2019.png

With respect, your re-addition of File:NWPB logo 2019.png to the articles where I removed it is not a matter of having the proper rationale. There is no proper rationale. Please see WP:NFC#UUI #17. It says "The logo of an entity used for identification of one of its child entities, when the child entity lacks its own branding. The specific child entity's logo remains acceptable." KTNW is a radio station owned and operated by Northwest Public Radio. It is a child entity of that organization. We do not permit the use of non-free parent organization logos on child entities of that organization, per the WP:NFC#UUI #17 guideline. The File:NWPB logo 2019.png can not stay on KTNW or any other article other than Northwest Public Radio, regardless of the rationale. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 17:23, 11 September 2022 (UTC)

I have re-removed this image from KWSU-TV and KTNW, per the aforementioned WP:NFC#UUI #17 guideline. If you still feel it is appropriate to include this image in those articles, I recommend you seek consensus to overturn this guideline. The way to do that would be to initiate a discussion at WT:NFC. If you have questions about this, please let me know. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 19:28, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
@Sammi Brie: What's your take on this? Mvcg66b3r (talk) 19:30, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
I was not aware of this, but @Hammersoft clearly applied the rule correctly. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 19:43, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
Agreeing here, per the past consensus regarding the use of TBN, Ion, TCT and 3ABN logos on what are otherwise just non-original 'passthrough sticks' pre-MSR repeal; they were removed, and it makes sense, which is why I try to find original logos for each station that meet NFC rather than using the same one over and over. WCVB-TV

Hello. You are correct, and did the right thing to revert those edits with WCVB-TV. The ONLY connection between the two stations is a fiber/microwave relay to feed video for news. That is it. They both maintain separate master control, and entire other operations facilities. Thanks for keeping on it. Necrat (talk) 22:11, 25 September 2022 (UTC)

Confusing revert

How is this edit vandalism? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 21:11, 28 September 2022 (UTC)

It's not really vandalism; just one of User:Rosspotter's disruptive edits. I reported him at WP:ANI. I use Twinkle for a quick revert. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 21:13, 28 September 2022 (UTC)

It was used over and over again (see Rosspotter's contribs and his talk page). Mvcg66b3r (talk) 21:31, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
I replaced often out of date links with well utilized Wikipedia templates that pull from Wikidata Official website URL, where I have ensured that Wikidata URL is up to date. How is that in any way disruptive? Rosspotter (talk) 23:28, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
See your talk page. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 23:28, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
