The information I added to WCYB-TV is from the history cards for the station, located on files at the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C. The information is here: http://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/prod/cdbs/forms/prod/getimportletter_exh.cgi?import_letter_id=86111 I have never understood how to add a source to Wikipedia and usually whenever I do, somebody tells me it's wrong or incorrect, even though the source is accurate and published. Hi @Douglassriverview, I restored most of what you added. If you'd like more advice, you can ask here or on my talk page or find me on WP:DISCORD. (I've also taken the opportunity to throw some more clippings at it.) Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 07:25, 29 July 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for understanding. While I am not an expert in Wikipedia operations, the previous reviewer had no idea that by saying my entry was written poorly, he was basically demeaning the 53-year career of a professional writer of television news, who'd won awards for his writing style and prose. I was on the verge of ending my relationship with Wikipedia, before your reaching out. I thank you for that. I will definitely need the extra help and I appreciate it. You'll be teaching an old dog new tricks LOL! Douglassriverview (talk) 13:08, 29 July 2022 (UTC)

I am warning you, do not start an edit war on the article: KDSO-LD or we will both get possibly blocked. Izivy (talk) 02:22, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

I was just correcting your errors and overlinks. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 02:24, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

Okay fine, i will stop linking articles instead. Izivy (talk) 02:37, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

It's okay to link articles, just not overlink. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 02:38, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

WKYC

Every station has their subchannels listed in the infobox.

No need to reinvent the wheel.

Vjmlhds 03:49, 19 August 2022 (UTC)

Either do it for all Cleveland stations or don't do it at all - no need to make WKYC stick out like a sore thumb Vjmlhds (talk) 04:06, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
No need to talk with Nathan - all I'm saying is if you're gonna do it, do it for all the stations in the market to be consistent. Vjmlhds (talk) 04:09, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
I see you did it to all the other stations as well (I assume 19.2 got a pass sue to My Network TV being a "major" network - though that's a stretch to be honest). I had no issue with the reasoning behind the change per se, it was just that you seemed to zero in on WKYC and left the others alone. But that's all been taken care of now, so all's well that ends well. Vjmlhds (talk) 04:18, 19 August 2022 (UTC)

WWJ-TV

Hey I wasn't trying to get into an edit war, but if you can help me out on the WWJ-TV page I'm trying to propose a split of the station's history as WGPR-TV both due to the article's length as well as the station's significance as a black-owned station in such a large market as Detroit. I'm editing from my phone so I'm trying to get the discussion going. Thanks! Jgera5 (talk) 00:23, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
