Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. It is clear that your only purpose here is to use Wikipedia for publicity purposes, which is not permitted Also, as you know, discussion led to a consensus that the article on Sheye Banks was not suitable. Wikipedia works by cooperation, not by individual editors choosing to ignore what anyone else says, and trying to impose their own preferences by persistently repeating the same edits. Seyebomi Ademuyiwa Adeniran Ogunsanya known professionally as Sheye Banks is a Nigerian on-air personality for Soundcity Radio Network[1], event host, hypeman, rapper and entrepreneur[2][3]. He is known for creating AfroHype by fusing Afrobeats and Amapiano sounds while using his Hype performance vocals as elements of African music[4][5].

Banks was born into a family of four and was raised as the first child by his father who is a Media salesman and Mother, who is a lecturer. He hails from Epe in Lagos State.

Sheye attended Elibel International School where he was the primary school’s Senior Prefect and Boys Brigade Leader. He finished as the president of the Press Club in his High School, Roshallom International Secondary School which eventually shaped his career path. Influences from visiting his dad at his press and learning about the media business made his desire for the media grow. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics and a postgraduate degree in Maritime Management and Administration from the University of Lagos. He left Nigeria in 2010, after being forced to leave school for a year and began his media journey in a community radio station in Kent[6].

Since returning to Nigeria from the United kingdom in 2011, Sheye Banks became an influential media personality and he set a pace as a Hypeman mainly because of his very unique voice and witty deliveries[7][8]. He also holds a reputation for being a controversial on-air personalty due to his pressure-like manner of questioning his guests. He first went viral online because of his interview with Rema, where the Mavin Records singer stated that Wizkid, Reekado Banks and Skiibii may sound like him[9]. He has also stirred up more conversations on social media for his interviews with Alpha-P and Peruzzi[10][11]. In an interview, he describes the media as his foundation and Hype as his growth in regards to finding his personality[12]. In an article written by Sesan Adeniji in 2019, Sheye Banks was described as the 'Whizz Kid Hypeman' because he could match the energy of all his contemporaries[13] and he is also known to advocate for younger Hype-men in his community to earn their performance royalties[14].

Sheye Banks has received several nominations and awards including the Winner of OAP of the year at City People Music Awards 2019[15], Winner of OAP of The Year at Scream Awards 2018, Winner of campus Hubb OAP of the year Award 2018, Outstanding OAP at the Pearl Awards 2016, with nominations as Best Presenter at the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards 2015, Best Presenter nominee and Best Radio Program nominee at the Scream Awards 2015 and Voice of The Year nominee at the Scream Awards 2016[16].
