June 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Shayan Italia has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_g0ndGq8Z-cA/RzSvjszTojI/AAAAAAAAAP4/QJychck5iHU/s400/shayan+italia2.png. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 16:32, 19 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of previously published material to our articles as you apparently did to Shayan Italia. Please cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. Hekerui (talk) 16:39, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of Armour of love edit

I have nominated Armour of love, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Armour of love. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Jolly Ω Janner 17:31, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Okay. No problem. Musiceditor123

Will respond to your image query later this evening. Jolly Ω Janner 18:19, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

There aren't any image results for Shayan on Flickr and all the ones I've seen on Google images would appear to be professional and therefore not suitable licenses for Wikimedia Commons. Please stop uploading copyrighted images to Wikipedia. Unless you have any photos that you took, the only other option is OTRS. To find out more about this method, read the instructions on Commons:Commons:OTRS. When chosing an image, go for one, which has no watermarks and is of good resolution. I doubt that many authors would release it freely, but it's worth a shot if you want a picture so bad. When you go onto Wikimedia Commons, you should sign in as Musiceditor123. The password will be the same as the one you use here on Wikipedia. Jolly Ω Janner 20:37, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:36, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Shayan italia2.png edit

Thank you for uploading File:Shayan italia2.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Image Screening Bot (talk) 18:43, 20 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

File copyright problem with File:Shayanpic35.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Shayanpic35.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

Because you used a fair use rationale with your upload, the recommended copyright tag is {{non-free album cover}}. Please add this to the image and remove the speedy delete template ({{di-no license}}).

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

December 2011 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Shayan Italia, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you.--Michig (talk) 08:45, 4 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove all content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to Shayan Italia. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. ScottSteiner 13:55, 4 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

January 2012 edit

Your attempts to get Shayan Italia deleted are beginning to look rather disruptive. Unless you can give a viable reason for doing so, I suggest you drop the idea, or you may find yourself blocked for disruptive editing. 79.123.73.97 (talk) 19:51, 10 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

April 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Excirial. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Shayan Italia with this edit without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 19:30, 16 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

March 2016 edit

Please stop continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Shayan Italia, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. Dl2000 (talk) 04:02, 16 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Shayan Italia.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Shayan Italia.jpg, which you've attributed to Shayan Italia. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 13:41, 23 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open! edit

Hello, Musiceditor123. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

May 2017 edit

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Shayan Italia. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. SoWhy 13:58, 3 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Shayan Italia. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. SoWhy 13:59, 3 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

September 2017 edit

Please stop assuming ownership of articles as you did at Shayan Italia. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please stop requesting speedy deletion if the reasons for speedy deletion clearly do not apply. You did not create this article and you are not the only editor, so you cannot request speedy deletion under WP:G7. If you believe the article should be deleted, explain why in the deletion discussion. SoWhy 10:30, 6 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Question about editing Shayan Italia edit

Hello, are you aware of Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest policies at WP:COI? Do you have any conflict of interest to declare with regard to editing Shayan Italia? Please do not edit further until you have answered this question. Thanks MaysinFourty (talk) 07:47, 24 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Warning about your editing edit

You have not answered the question above and have reinserted promotional, poorly sourced material on Shayan Italia. Please look at WP:RS on Wikipedia's policy on reliable, independent sources. Also, once again, please declare any conflict of interest you have. It appears you're not willing to engage and, for that reason, I might have to request an admin to step in. Be aware that consistently violating Wiki policy would lead to a block. MaysinFourty (talk) 06:23, 26 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • PS: Also, I'm now having doubts whether the subject merits an article at all! All the sources I see look promotional, press release-fed Page 3 stories or about the one-off national anthem Youtube viewership, which is not in itself notable Please list the best possible, independent sources for the subject after you've gone through WP:RS policy. It seems to me at this point (given its promo sourcing and lack of WP:SIGCOV) the article would have to be nominated for deletion, so the Wikipedia community can decide if it deserves to stay here. Best, MaysinFourty (talk) 07:45, 26 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Shayan Italia for deletion edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Shayan Italia is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Shayan Italia (3rd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. MaysinFourty (talk) 18:31, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Drmies (talk) 20:00, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

The file File:Shayan_Italia_standing_against_the_Steinway_D_concert_grand_piano_as_part_of_the_IWouldStandForThis_initiative.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused, potentially promotional

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
