Disambiguation pages edit

Please not that disambiguation pages should only have entries for which Wikipedia has an article. They are not for every meaning of a term that exists. See WP:DABSTYLE. SpinningSpark 13:15, 8 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

March 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Spinningspark. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Reed-Custer High School have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. SpinningSpark 00:47, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Neither the person you added, the band, nor the song have an article here on Wikipedia. Only notable alumni should be added. We would normally expect the person to have an article. At the very least, a reference should be provided to show they are notable. Note that once uncited information has been removed, it must not be restored without providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the claim. See our policy at Wikipedia:Verifiability. SpinningSpark 01:09, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

An adjustment edit

Easy, then you should make one for them then if it’s so important they need a page honestly. Look there music up & social media’s, etc. there’s enough info you can gather on that person easily. Thank you. MusicHead24 (talk) 01:16, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

It's not for me to make a page. It is the responsibility of the person restoring the information to provide a source. That's in WP:V, on e of our core policies. SpinningSpark 08:51, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

March 2019 edit

Your recent editing history at Reed-Custer High School shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.   Hello. Your recent edit to Grind (disambiguation) appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Meters (talk) 08:33, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

If there is no article, there is no need to add mention to the DAB page. Meters (talk) 08:34, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. SpinningSpark 12:14, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 14:05, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your sole purpose of joining Wikipedia appears to have been to promote someone, and repeatedly adding this when challenged by other editors. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 14:05, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
