Edits to Jordin Sparks (album)

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you've been adding your signature to some of your article contributions, such as the edit you made to Jordin Sparks (album). This is a simple mistake to make and is easy to correct. For future reference, the need to associate edits with users is taken care of by an article's edit history. Therefore, you should use your signature only when contributing to talk pages, the Village Pump, or other such discussion pages. For a better understanding of what distinguishes articles from these type of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thanks for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Jordin Sparks (album), is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mdsummermsw (talk) 13:12, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh I'm sorry, Thanks I know what to do next time.

MusicAngel16 (talk) 13:57, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Jordin Sparks. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. - Mdsummermsw (talk) 19:58, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Leona Lewis discography do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.

The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bmyspace\.com' (link(s): http://www.myspace.com/Leonalewis http://www.myspace.com/Leonalewis) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 22:08, 9 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Top-selling American Idol alumni. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. [1] - Mdsummermsw (talk) 13:31, 10 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Article categories in user space

edit

If you take a look at the upper right hand corner of your User page, you'll see that there are article categories, which means that your User page is being added to those categories. Those categories are for article space only. You can comment out those categories temporarily by inserting a colon in front of the category name, for example: [[:category]], then, if you plan on putting your user page into article space, you can remove the colons. Please do this, as you're inappropriately showing up in those categories. Corvus cornixtalk 23:48, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello? You've edited since I left this message. Please remove the categories. Corvus cornixtalk 20:18, 11 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Awesome. Thank you. Corvus cornixtalk 21:45, 17 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:MariaLawsonSleepwalking.jpg

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
