Assignment edit

My only concern regarding some of the subjects you have chosen is that potentially, certain kinds of additions to certain articles might cross the line of undue weight as per WP:UNDUE and maybe have to face removal or trimming. I'm thinking particularly of Council of Trent, Pope Gregory I and the like. Having said that, I note that the completions are due by next Thursday, and I'll check out the improvements to the various Christianity related articles thereafter. If there is anything I can do to help in either before or after the due date, though, let me know. My fields, such as they are, are more biography and religion than music, but I'd be more than willing to help out where I can. John Carter (talk) 21:52, 28 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

P.S. We're actually supposed to post any comments to you here, not on your userpage. That page is generally reserved for the page "owners" as individuals, where most of us will generally tell really extravagant lies about our intelligence, achievements, or whatever. Just thought you might like to know. :) John Carter (talk) 22:06, 28 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the tip. I had just figured that out, actually. :-) And thanks for your concern and interest in my project. The students will be focusing primarily on biographical/historical and musical matters, not on theological or doctrinal issues, so I don't think there will be any problems. But I welcome your oversight to make sure that Wikipedia's standards are upheld. Museprof (talk) 00:11, 29 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
  • I have replied to your post at WT:CM and have also taken the liberty to refactor your comment at WT:COMPOSERS in order to keep the discussion centralised at a single venue. I hope you don't mind. Eusebeus (talk) 15:28, 29 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Class article editing project edit

Hi. As you will probably know there has been some discussion of your project on the Classical Music Project. I wonder if you would like to respond to the various criticisms that have been made? Please see Where did the Union University project go wrong? Thanks for your cooperation. --Kleinzach 01:46, 2 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
