License tagging for Image:MurphyCentr.jpg edit
Thanks for uploading Image:MurphyCentr.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

If you could please explain how that was promotional... not that I've got a problem, I just don't really understand. Thanx.
- I'll be honest, given it was a full month ago that this article was created, I cannot remember exact reasons why I prodded it for deletion. In any case, the deleting admin must have agreed with me in this situation. More than likely, it was the way the article was worded, perhaps not maintaining a neutral POV, presenting material in the form of an advertisement, having a lack of notability or acceptable sources, or maybe a combination of these and/or other factors. I honestly cannot tell you at this point.
- What I can provide you are some links on how to best write articles. Check out Wikipedia:The perfect article, Wikipedia:Guide to writing better articles, Wikipedia:Guide to layout, and the various links provided in side columns and footers on those pages. There are lots of resources for writing articles, but the basics are as I mentioned above: maintain a neutral POV, present all issues equally, include material that is potentially useful to a wide audience (not just a single town or small group) and cite appropriate sources.
