The Munsters and Universal

FYI, When Universal City Studios was created, Revue became in-name-only. The television division was briefly known as "Universal TV" for quite sometime. Read this: munsters%22. King Shadeed 13:36, January 15, 2016 (UTC)

Great, thanks for letting me know. Is this quote from Universal Studios wrong then? "In 1964 MCA formed Universal City Studios, Inc., merging the motion pictures and television arms of Universal Pictures Company and Revue Productions (officially renamed as Universal Television in 1966)." I know that Kayro-Vue Productions is a combination name, the Vue coming from Revue and the Kayro coming from Kay Connelly and Rose Mosher, the wives of producers Joe Connelly and Bob Mosher. The end credits of every episode also say "Film edat the Studios of Universal City," so I think it would be at least correct to change the filming location to "Universal City Studios" in the infobox. Universal's early history for their television division is weird to be honest. I DO remember seeing "Filmed at Universal City" effectively during the 1963-1964 season. Some series from the Revue years still carried the Revue name in the copyright during the early Universal Television era. Even for some strange reason, The Jack Benny Show retained the Revue name at the end. Seeing some sources from Broadcasting between 1964 and 1966 uses the "Universal TV" name for some shows. I'll have to look up the name for 1963 issues. The quote "Revue (officially renamed as Universal Television)" is right. But like I said, Universal Television's early history is WEIRD. I don't know why they've used the name "Universal TV" in its early years. King Shadeed 14:49, January 20, 2016 (UTC)
