SUNY Albany edit edit

Thank you for your contribution on SUNY Albany, but it was removed as it was not appropriate for the article namespace. Proposed ideas and flaws for articles are the perfect sort of material for the discussion page on every article. Feel free to re-add what you had put into the article into the discussion page to help bring the issues you mentioned to the proper audience. Thanks, Nick Garvey (talk) 21:27, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • First and foremost, welcome! Your edit did appear to have good material, but because it was mainly "this should be added to the article" instead of content, it belongs on the "discussion" page for the UAlbany article. The talk page is designed for exactly this sort of thing, discussion about the article and how it can be improved. I agree entirely that negative material shouldn't be omitted, but I would also like to note that material must be verifiable and can't be original research. Thanks for your edits and good luck with the articles you contribute to in the future. Nick Garvey (talk) 18:08, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Mujtaba edit

The article Mujtaba has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Basically a dictionary entry.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
