Hi, I've been blocked from editing and would like to appeal:

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Mudfud85 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

The block message says that The IP address I am using is believed to be a web host provider or collocation provider. This definitely is not the case. I've been through the "Why was I blocked?" Q/A and cannot find a clear reason for this. I sometimes connect through Rockefeller University's VPN, but I quite the VPN connection and that did not resolve the issue (I did not however reboot the computer?). Any guidance you could give would be helpful; I would like to make some corrections to Ruth Lehmann's wikipedia page, among others :) Thank you! Mudfud 13:08, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Once you disable your VPN, you need to wait a full 24 hours for the block to clear. Yamla (talk) 13:46, 20 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Categories active in your user space article on Arnold Levine

edit

Hi Darnelr, I just saw that some main space categories contain a link to your user space article User:Darnelr/Arnold Levine. Would you mind to deactivate the categories in this article for now, by using <nowiki>categories</nowiki>? Thanks, SchreyP (messages) 09:12, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sorry if I was not clear enough. I just meant deactivation of the categories in the article in your user space: User:Darnelr/Arnold Levine, not the one in the main space Arnold J. Levine. -- SchreyP (messages) 15:33, 3 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Bob for changing. Now your user space article User:Darnelr/Arnold Levine in not listed in the categories deactived. While the current one in the main space Arnold J. Levine, is still properly listed in those categories. Is this clarifying enough? -- SchreyP (messages) 16:01, 3 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, and sorry for being slow to respond! Mudfud 13:00, 20 December 2022 (UTC)

Improving Immunology Articles

edit

Hi Darnelr, I am simply an editor who thinks some of the immunology articles on Wikipedia are far from complete and the quality can be easily improved. I'd love to do it all by myself, but it'd be even better to do it in a team, to be more efficient as well as to get a wider viewpoints (from the medical, molecular and cellular viewpoints for example). If you are interested, please go to here and just start editing. The purpose of the page (it's a new page) is simply to get everyone together and collaborate, as to ensure there's editors for different topics. I look forward to working with you soon, any help would be greatly appreciated. Kinkreet~♥moshi moshi♥~ 00:39, 6 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
