Hi, We are a tamil film production company named 'Methagu Thiraikkalam' located in Tamilnadu, India. We have produced our first movie named 'METHAGU - part1' and released in June 2021. In connection to this, we have decided to create official wiki page for our company to update about ourself and the upcoming projects. (ec) You have a great many misunderstandings about Wikipedia.
- If you are the director, and you are compensated for that role in any manner(not just money or even anything tangible), you are a paid editor. You do not have to be specifically paid to edit. Please read WP:PAID and WP:COI.
- Your account should only be operated by a single person(you use "we" above).
- Wikipedia does not have "official pages", not for any topic. Wikipedia has articles, typically written by independent editors wholly unconnected with the topic. The subject has no special rights to any articles about it.
- Articles are not for the benefit of the subject. There may be benefits but those are on the side and not our primary goal. We have no interest in helping you tell the world about your film or in enhancing search results for it. Our only goal is in summarizing independent reliable sources about (in this case) films that meet the special Wikipedia definition of a notable film.
You won't be unblocked to edit about your film in the short term; if you want to be a general contributor, please tell what topics you will edit about, such as the history of your country, Joe Biden, Narendra Modi, science, or any topic other than your film. 331dot (talk) 13:22, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
Hi Thanks for your quiick feedback and advise. Now i got understood at least something. Now I would like to get a help on these following - We have released our first movie last year and we really would like to have an article about that film and followed by our second movie which is going to be released in 2 months. All these movies are made with the help of crowd funding. Therefore the production company article also informative for the public. - Also see the essay entitled "Wikipedia:Yes, it is promotion". Some people don't believe that their motives for editing Wikipedia are promotional, but they actually are. This appears to be the case here. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:42, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
