Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Talk:Luna (orca) has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. Favonian (talk) 23:22, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Joshua. What Favonian is referring to above is that we generally add comments to the end of Talk pages instead of deleting what's already on the Talk page. Other editors should be able to look at a Talk page and join in the conversation. If you would rather that a previous conversation be made less prominent (e.g. for privacy reasons), you can archive the discussion using the instructions at Help:Archiving a talk page. Or you can leave a comment asking for the page to be archived, and I'll do it. I plan to archive the Talk:Springer (orca) page in the next day or so because it mentions some real names and we don't want to cause unnecessary embarrassment to anyone.
And here is an overdue welcome message for you:

Thank you for uploading File:MH 50 Cent.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. (ESkog)(Talk) 23:06, 15 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Warning: removing references from articles

edit

I see you have removed references from an article here: [1]and here: [2]. The references were to the Blackfish Sounder, a publication associated with the Vancouver Aquarium. It is clear from your contributions that you have a strong interest in promoting a particular individual who professes to have had conflicts with the Vancouver Aquarium. This to me looks like you have deliberately removed sources from an article for political reasons, and at Wikipedia we call that vandalism. So here is a vandalism warning:

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

Joshua, you do actually sound like a nice guy who cares about whales. But for whatever reason you've seem to have gotten yourself into a project that is in some ways at odds with what Wikipedia is about. I hope you'll find some way to redirect your energies to some other way of helping the whales. Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 05:03, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your article submission Norman Batley

edit

Hello Mrjoshuawells. It has now been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Norman Batley.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Norman Batley}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 23:09, 21 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
