Hello MrDDG, sorry for that and welcome to Wikipedia. The content was erased due to several reasons; one being that the content you added did not have a reference. The second reason is that you wrote a personal opinion on Wikipedia which compromises the neutrality of Wikipedia. Contributors are always encouraged to remain neutral when writing articles on Wikipedia.

Blogs are fine and certainly have their role, but Wikipedia's role is to report on what reliable sources say on a topic, not to report on editor's personal experiences.
