Thank you for your kind words on my talk page regarding editing the Richard Parry (musician) article. I only added what I could find from reputable sites on the internet, though I am familiar with The Arcade Fire and, therefore, thought improving his article page could be worthwhile.

I presume you are the contributor who added the info on his involvement with Literary Arts program at Canterbury High School (Ottawa) and his classmates. That was a very interesting addition. Quite a good group you had there!

How doo, Yes, that was me. I have my own wiki running this same software for my project so I'm used to the idea that I've got a user account and am logged in. Confused me to no end why my name wasn't appearing properly.  :\

I attended CHS with Richard (in the Lit Arts program) way back when, but I've been so overloaded with work in the last few months I only just heard about The Arcade Fire. Followed a few links, found his page, did a happy dance for him, and added the very little bit of information I can reasonably talk about. I believe this is his father, who passed away in 1995. There was a massive wake for him at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, where he worked. Richard read a beautiful poem there in front of a huge crowd, and you just felt truly awful for him, but amazed at how strong he was. Aaaaanyway, all that's to say: I'm glad some goodness has come into his life, cause he deserves it. MrAndrews 19:03, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)
