You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Chelsea F.C.. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Olly150 16:26, 31 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reverting vandalism

edit

Hi, I notice you are involved in fighting the fires started by an individual who I have now reported to WP:AIV. However, fyi, if a vandal has made several edits, you can click on the version before the vandalism, select edit and then save and the article will go back to that version.--Peter cohen (talk) 21:18, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I know you're not the vandal, what I describe is a method for makign the task of reverting easier. (Some people also use tools.)--Peter cohen (talk) 21:29, 17 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Squad numbers

edit

Hi, have Chelsea confirmed their squad numbers yet? because I still can't see anything on their website to say so. Numbers on their training gear wouldn't count as a reliable published source, I'm afraid, from a WP:Verifiability point of view. And as I'm sure you're aware, they're not always the same numbers as the players end up wearing, either :-) cheers, Struway2 (talk) 15:43, 8 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've seen the pictures, but as I said above, that isn't confirmation of the numbers the players will wear next season. It happens often that a player will have a certain number in pre-season training but a different one when the season starts. Please wait until Chelsea confirm the numbers before adding them back, then we'll be sure they're correct. thanks, Struway2 (talk) 16:44, 8 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for understanding :-) happy editing, Struway2 (talk) 16:51, 8 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
