Hello, Mpf57, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Feedback for annotated bibliography

edit

This is a great start on your annotated bibliography, and you're doing a good job of paying attention to the strengths and weaknesses of each study and their relevance in terms of supporting or refuting your controversy. However, make sure that you check the kind of study you're using though to make sure it's the level of evidence you need. For example, the Thomsen article is not a randomized controlled trial and the Fielding & Simon article is an invited commentary on a study, not an empirical study itself or a true meta-analysis.
