Speedy deletion nomination of The Kilam Group, LLC, edit

A tag has been placed on The Kilam Group, LLC,, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. February 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from The Kilam Group, LLC,, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. MuffledThud (talk) 21:18, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Yaakov Padgett edit

A tag has been placed on Yaakov Padgett requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

MuffledThud (talk) 21:19, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Yaakov Padgett. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 21:36, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Yaakov Padgett. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. MuffledThud (talk) 21:44, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did with Yaakov Padgett, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. 5 albert square (talk) 21:58, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

MY INTENTION WAS NOT TO VANDALIZE ANYTHING. THIS SYSTEM IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND FOR A NOVICE AND I KNOW THIS IS NOT THE 1ST TIME YOU'VE HEARD THAT

I DID NOT SEE THOSE REQUEST "NOT" TO REMOVE UNTI; IT WAS TOO LATE...IT'S NOT LIKE IT WAS EASY TO FIND THOSE REQUEST UNTIL I SCROLLED AROUND THE SITE. THEN I SAW WHERE MULTIPLE PEOPLE HAD SAID DONT DELETE. I HAD THIS SIGN IN PROBABLY ALMOST A YEAR. HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU SEE A PROBLEM WITH ME BEFORE TODAY?!?! NONE.....PLEASE TAKE OFF THAT BLOCK AND REINSTATE YAAKOV PADGETT.

I need someone to reply to my request. In the beginning, I was NOT delibrately removing the speedy removal tag, I was trying to remove everything to delete the page. When I noticed what you guys were sending me, it was TOO LATE! looking to see where you are sending my responses IS NOT THE EASIEST TO LOCATE. If there was a NORMAL chat box, I would have seen that and stopped immediately. I am NOT a IT pro, I am a salesman!

Hiya
Please don't type in CAPS as that is generally considered shouting.
The speedy deletion templates do make it quite clear that you are not to remove them from pages created by yourself by stating "If this page does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself." As the page has been deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. --5 albert square (talk) 22:47, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Its clear if you understand this system. This is the 1st time in nearyly a year having this account that i ever attmpted with patience to complete the profile ONLY to have it rejected and now blocked. Please remove the block and I will decide at on another level what to do

Hi again
It's really got nothing to do with whether or not you understand Wikipedia. If read, this speedy deletion template quite clearly states that it is not to be removed by the page creator under any circumstances and it also explains what to do if you dispute the deletion. Trust me, this is coming from someone who had her first article deleted. When I first created Captain Nigel Croker it was deleted because there wasn't enough information to state why the character was notable enough for Wikipedia. I let it be deleted and then I re-created it when I was certain that it was notable enough.
As for unblocking, that would be down to admins. If you are unblocked and you wish to create more articles, I would suggest that you read Wikipedia:Your first article. Take care --5 albert square (talk) 23:59, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I see that I am still blocked and this is ridiculous because your system is difficult to understand. Please CANCEL my account. I no longer want to do business with you...

How do I cancel my account? I sent a request and I see that the account is still active. I choose not to do business and i would like the account CLOSED

  • Ordinarily, the best thing to do is simply stop editing, log out, and do not log back in. It's not like you're getting billed for this, so there's really no need to do anything more. You're not really "doing business" with Wikipedia, after all. If you do wish to go farther, though, please see Wikipedia:Right to vanish, which outlines the processes for doing so.
