Mowthegrass, A pleasure exchanging views with you, sometimes close to the mark on both sides, but that's what passion does for you! We may never agree 100% but still share a lot of common ground. Long may WPP continue in whatever guise. If only the hijackers and intentional stirrers could be banned! Regards Chief ironside (talk) 12:31, 21 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Chief ironside, They are ok they have helped me several times if I was a bit harsh it is because they make a difference. The maze of Legislation is awsome on the net, and as for Street Wardens, P.C.S.O's and private security firms patrolling city streets who is to say what future plans are in the pipeline. It is pleasure we have agreed to disagree and I apart from monitoring the WPP on Wikipedia I hope this will be the last time I need to comment. Mowthegrass (talk) 13:41, 21 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mowthegrass, I know that WPP were trained well, and dealings I have had have been positive. I agree with your point on legislation, it's never cut and dried, especially via the web. As for the future, that's an altogether more complex minefield. Insofar as being harsh, I have thick skin and as I said, that's what passion in a subject does sometimes. For my part I think the discussion has come to a logical end and reading Dibbles last, it would appear he has as well. Please feel free to shoot down any anon editors/posters etc. RegardsChief ironside (talk) 14:02, 21 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

weapons edit

constables attested under the 1967 Act might be able to carry in parks, but definitely not on the street. home office (or territorial police forces) can carry anywhere. ninety:one 15:45, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is just your opinion I have just come from Wandsworth High Street outside Wandsworth Townhall where I have been speaking to to a Met Sergeant and a WPP Sergeant all of us standing together on the street both of them having batons on their belts. I think you are losing credibility and ought to step back as did your dibble and look at what you are trying to tell us. I will transfer this to the discussion page at WPP.
