A tag has been placed on Lena Pessoa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Work on it in your own user space edit

Your article has been deleted as unambiguous copyright infringement. You can't copy material from other sites to Wikipedia articles. You may create User:Mouzaia/Lena Pessoa in your own user space where you can work on it at your leisure without worrying about it being deleted, but you must create original content, not copied content. Also, your article is not ready for main article space because it currently violated Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. ~Amatulić (talk) 14:32, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello,

I do not understand why do you treat us like that.

2 days ago we decide to bring Lena Pessoa on english talking Wiki and Portuguese talking wiki. Since 2006, she is on the french Wiki, with never no complaint.

I am the same man, with "mouzaia" as a name, writing on the french one, the english one, and the portuguese one.

I am the same man taking the pictures, who belongs to me, this is the reason why I gave these pictures in the public domain under my wiki name, using the procedures described on your pages.

Lena Pessoa is quite famous. As mentioned on her pages, the is the designer of hundreds of stores all over the world, working for Vuitton,Pucci, Tods, Jimmy Choo and others,it is also possible to see this on her site, http://deuxl.com When googling "lena pessoa" the answer of Google is : Environ 7 080 résultats (0,43 secondes)

Our company,DeuxL,exist since 2000, it is a small company, and before the Crisis,it was very profitable.

But yes, no one wrote a book on her, so I cannot ref no books with her name as a title. We have a lot of pages on books on architecture all over the world, I have mentioned one of these books this morning to one of your censors, his only answer was "she got only one page" !

I have read somewhere in your 'so difficult' pages to read that we were using pictures coming from ttp://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lena_Pessoa this is ridiculous, I am the one who wrote both of them, and the pictures are mine. I am the one who take care of Deuxl's internet site, with the same pictures ..

So please, be reasonable and let us work ...

Thanks for reading.

Responses:
  • First, read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. You clearly have a conflict of interest, so you probably should not be writing this article.
  • Next, read Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons to know what is required of such articles. For one thing, any biography of a living person that doesn't reference verifiable and reliable sources that are independent of the person will not survive in main article space. That is why I suggested above to work on it in your own user space.
  • It does not matter if an article has existed in another language Wikipedia. Each Wikipedia is independent, and the English Wikipedia has much stricter rules about inclusion. Wikipedia:Notability (people) applies here.
I don't believe the pictures were any problem, if you released them to public domain. The content of your article and its lack of sources caused it to be deleted. ~Amatulić (talk) 15:14, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Amatulic for answer. First i have received this as a mail :

The Wikipedia page "User talk:Mouzaia" has been changed on 13 July 2012 by JamesBWatson, with the edit summary: /* Speedy deletion nomination of Lena Pessoa */ Copyright

And on some of "Mouzaia's" page :

Your addition to Lena Pessoa has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia.

So that is the reason why I talk about Copyright problem.

About your answer :

1 - COI : ok, I work very close to Lena Pessoa, I did not knew about this COI. I feel this totally ridiculous. So, if, for instance Lena Pessoa herself was writing her own article, it would be a Conflict of Interest ? but this is ridiculous, you cannot be in a COI with yourself, then it should be better to suicide.

2 - If i click on "Random Article" of your menu, I see pages and pages talking about biographies of almost unknown peoples with no good references. Reverse, if I look for certains authors i know, for instance "Esther Henwood" (13800 found in Google, dozens of books here in france but she is american, living in france), she is not in the english Wiki ...

I am sorry to say to you, who has nicely answer to my questions with humanity, the real problem is giving to anyone some power is a problem.

Thanks for your "help".

Best Regards.

Wikipedia:Autobiography goes into more detail for people who might try to write an article about themselves. Yes, everyone has a COI concerning themselves. If you are notable by virtue of significant coverage in multiple independent sources, someone will get around to writing an article about you eventually. Editors with a conflict of interest often cannot separate their bias from their writing because they are too close to the topic. This is a problem because Wikipedia:Neutral point of view is a non-negotiable policy here.
Wikipedia has millions of articles and only a few thousand active regular contributors, so it is impossible to keep track of everything. Many articles exist here that should not. The existence of poorly-referenced articles is not a reason for other similar ones to be created, especially if they are biographies of people currently living.
The best suggestion I can offer you is what I have already suggested in the section above: Create your article in your own user space. That way you can work on it at your leisure without concern for it being deleted. When it is well referenced and ready, you can ask someone to review it (I am happy to do so) prior to moving it to main article space. ~Amatulić (talk) 16:47, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks a lot, really :-)

I will come back to you at the fall. Really thanks :-)
