June 2019 edit

Hello. Your recent edit to List of elevator manufacturers appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you.   Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to List of elevator manufacturers. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 06:34, 11 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

No... you are fundamentally misunderstanding Wikipedia's purpose. Wikipedia is not a business directory, and it is not to be used to tell the world about your company. Wikipedia has no interest in what a company's representatives want to say about it; we only care about the writings of neutral third parties who have no vested interest in the company.
Wikipedia only accepts articles about companies that pass its notability criteria - significant coverage in reliable and independent sources. Company-authored material, social media and other self-published sources are not considered reliable and are disqualified from establishing a company's notability.
If you read any of the linked pages from the notices that were subsequently blanked from this talk page, you would know that we highly discourage editors with a conflict of interest from editing or creating articles here, because of the inherent difficulty in adhering to the required netural point of view.
If your only interest is to promote your company, then you should try one of the many alternative outlets available to you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 17:05, 11 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
