Welcome! edit

Hello, Mosheikh19, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Draft:Sunshine Supply & Care, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

 – let's keep the discussion in one place
I saw your message on my talk page. Thanks for reaching out! I am new to Wikipedia and I am trying to correct/add more relevant info about the world around me in my community. In regards to "Sunshine Supply & Care", I actually am not associated with the organization in any manner. It's a couple of high school and college kids from the same county as mine who have started a nonprofit organization. It has been in a couple Detroit news sources lately and gaining popularity throughout the state, so I figured I would add some information to Wikipedia regarding the subject. Per your previous message, you said that you would be willing to take a look and edit it - could you please do so and let me know how objective it is? I was not trying to be subjective towards the organization in any way - just provide information. If you could give me some feedback on my first article, I would greatly appreciate it as help for this article and those I will be able to write in the future :).
Additionally, I am the only one using this account, so no problem in regards to the corporation and compensation bit. Just an old man trying to provide information on the places and topics I know best!
Thanks, Jim! Mosheikh19 (talk) 02:08, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Okay, good, that's cleared up.
In my opinion, that draft is going nowhere as long as it is so dependent on the organization's own website as a reference. You can include the website as an external link, but at this stage of the draft using it as a primary source is likely to be seen as a problem. In order to establish notability for the organization, you are going to need references that are independent and provide significant in-depth coverage and, preferably, not just from local press. Most of the summary information about the organization should come from these references, if you can find them. And your ref #5, talking about a public statement by one of the organization's representatives, does not appear to be a published source and cannot be used at all as a reference.
More bad news: you uploaded the company logo to Commons as your "own work". I've requested it be deleted. Once you have an accepted article, there is a way for the logo to be attached to the article, but that is not allowed while the article is a draft. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 03:29, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I'll take a look, thanks! Mosheikh19 (talk) 16:10, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
