Hi, I reverted your addition on bhikkhu. The article is about the use of the term as it applies to Buddhist monks. While it would be appropriate to note that the term itself likely comes from the Vedas, the bhikshu that were mentioned in your addition predate the origins of Buddhism, and their relation to the Buddhist term is questionable. I think there may have been an error in the Rhys Davids bit- it says "who did not enter upon the sage of householders", but I'm guessing that sage should be stage. --Clay Collier (talk) 21:52, 9 January 2009 (UTC)
