Baba Ramdev's wealth

edit

Hi Murrowolf. the reason I do not wish to put the word 'wealth' in the introduction of the article is 1) Not even a single penny of wealth is registered in the name of Baba Ramdev. All the wealth is in the name of either Acharya Balkrishna or other supporters of Baba Ramdev. So mentioning 'wealth' in the introduction of the article appears to suggest that Baba Ramdev owns wealth, which is not true. 2) I have no objection in mentioning the wealth of all the trusts and companies guided and promoted by Baba Ramdev. This can be mentioned at some other suitable place in the article but not in the introduction, because the introduction's job is to introduce Baba Ramdev and not Patanjali Yogpeeth. Note that neither does Baba Ramdev own any wealth or any bank account nor does he hold any position in any of the companies and trusts. All he does is guide the companies and trusts in the promotion of yoga, ayurveda and anti-black money movement. Baba Ramdev is only an informal (not official) brand ambassador of Patanjali and other swadeshi products. He does not run any company or trust, but only guides them.

For this reason, the article must not claim that Baba Ramdev owns wealth because that is a wrong fact.

I have no objection with alternative medicine being mentioned in place of Ayurveda. That's ok. Gauravshah.89 (talk) 14:11, 11 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Baba Ramdev's introduction

edit

Hi Murrowolf. We have been constantly reverting each-other's changes on Baba Ramdev's article's introduction. Let's discuss this and sort it out. I object to the word 'wealth' used in the introduction. Why ? Because everyone has wealth. Be it Sachin Tendulkar or Shahrukh Khan. If Baba Ramdev has gained wealth through his ventures in Yoga and Ayurveda, then even Sachin tendulkar has gained wealth though Cricket and Shahrukh Khan through his acting. Why to especially write about wealth of Baba Ramdev in the introduction, when everyone possesses wealth ??

While unorthodox, I moved it temporarily to work on it in the talk page, basically using that as a sandbox. I have included both the edited version and (originally) the original version on the talk page, as I modified and removed some details in effort to wikify the article better.

Sorry for any confusion.

Revision to Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri articles

edit

I noticed that you have revised either Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri or Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire.

I intend to revise those articles following the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines. There are more details on the discussion pages of those articles. I'd be interested in any comments you have. It would be best if your comments were on the discussion pages of the two articles.

Thank you.
