Nadia Abu El Haj edit

Thank you for your recent contributions to Nadia Abu El Haj. The petition organized by opponents of Abu El Haj's tenure is already discussed in the article, a few paragraphs before you added your description of the petition. The article also includes a link to the petition itself. Consequently, your edit was removed. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz (Talk | contribs) 17:55, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry that I didn't read your paragraph more closely. I didn't realize that you and the JTA article were referring to a website that was separate from the petition. Sorry. — Malik Shabazz (Talk | contribs) 21:11, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 00:03, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Citation listings edit

Hello! Please have a look at Wikipedia:Citation templates to see how to properly insert citations and references into articles. SWik78 13:44, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please read the link to the page I left above regarding external links. It's not fair that you just insert the text of the link into an article and someone else has to go through all of the changes you've made and properly format all of your errors and omissions. SWik78 (talk) 13:37, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
OK, I'm asking you really nicely to look at Joseph Massad and see what the article looks like after your edits. Please pay attention to formatting. Also, don't you find it inapropriate to insert several quotations into an article that is already tagged as having too many quotations? SWik78 (talk) 16:17, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Some friendly advice edit

Hello Morningside Clio. I have been editing Wikipedia for several years now, and I have come across many editors and editors' editing patterns and behaviors similar to yours. See this as a friendly advice, that will make your contributions more stable, and your time and the time of your fellow editors more enjoyable. I know that this may be a lot to read, but I have seen many editors like you with good potential, that after a while they get banned from the project because of their editing behavior:

Please take some time to read:

Happy editing! ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 18:38, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi Clio! I hope the weather's nice wherever you are - and if its Morningside Heights, then I'm sure it will be for a couple of weeks. I'd like to second Jossi's remarks and suggestions, and add another: don't focus too much on one or two articles, even if you think that those aren't quite right. The community respects people who spread their interests, and there's such a lot to do!

AfD nomination of Jennifer Loewenstein edit

I have nominated Jennifer Loewenstein, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jennifer Loewenstein. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
