Hello, MorganPeterson20, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to Art in the Women’s Suffrage Movement (USA and UK), you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — Mikehawk10 (talk) 05:58, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello! Thank you so much for pointing that out to me, I will do my best to be more aware of that moving forward. I was attempting to respond to some corrections suggested by other users, but I now see how it would seem like I am acting as the owner. Looking back at the edit history, I was attempting to focus the scope of the article but it appears that I unintentionally ignored some edits that you had made. I am very sorry about that, I should have been paying more attention to the edit history. Thank you for your continued help and patience! MorganPeterson20 (talk) 06:09, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
