Hi Moopee,
It's pretty straightforward to post a picture on Wikipedia: there are two parts - firstly uploading the picture, and then linking it in the article. The most important -and often most difficult - bit is working out what the copyright on the picture is (since all pictures on Wikipedia have to be free enough that they can be used with no legal concerns), and you need to work that out so that you can add that information to the picture when you upload it. All the information you need is at Help:Contents/Images and media - the sections on "How to upload files", "Image copyright tags", and "How to insert and use pictures in Wikipedia articles" in particular will be of use.
