Restoration Articles for deletion/Judith Sewell Wright

edit

Hello everyone @User:Spiralwidget,@Oaktree b,@Alien333,@Isaidnoway,@Sal2100, @Cullen328,@SunTunnels,@Bexaendos. Please check the discussion on @OwenX page, I have made a complex analysis, to which I have found a number of media sources that can be annexed to the sources also presented by @Isaidnoway.

Comment

However, I did a complex analysis and identified a number of sources in the TV news. Because they are no longer available online I found them on YouTube. NewsChannel 5, The Early Show, CBS2 News, WPTZ.

Are any sources available at Chicago Tribune, WGN9, FOX32.

Thus based on the sources that were available in the article, as well as the sources that were presented by other editors in the deletion discussion and the sources that I have identified. We could rewrite the article and republish according to wikipedia policies. Mooon FR (talk) 15:18, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Interviews, especially those that are part of the marketing campaign to promote a book, do not establish notability. Independent sources are required to establish notability, and interviews are not independent. Cullen328 (talk) 16:54, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I don't want to re-litigate the AfD discussion, but I did find part of the closer's rationale puzzling, specifically where they said: the Keep views ... hang their !vote ... – for coining the term "soft addiction", without providing any evidence that the term is, indeed, significant or new. I found that a little odd, considering coining the term literally means – any newly formed word, term, or phrase that nevertheless has achieved popular or institutional recognition and is becoming accepted into mainstream language.[1] I guess I didn't think that coining the term needed to be explained. Having said that, I wouldn't bother trying to recreate the article, unless you can find WP:SIGCOV, and honestly, Wright is better off not having one, because having a WP article is certainly not a badge of honor. I would submit it as a draft for consideration, if you thing it meets notability; I'm not sure it does, but your mileage may vary. Oaktree b (talk) 23:50, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
