I deleted a lot of the detail that is not warranted in this text in an attempt to establish balance. Would someone please look and see if we're there yet? 21:28, 18 February 2018 (UTC)

  Hello, I'm Meters. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Stefan Dollinger. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Moochooroo. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Stefan Dollinger ‎, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Your edits and comments to this this article and A Dictionary of Canadianisms on Historical Principles which Dollinger was involved in lead me to believe that you have a conflict of interest in Stefan Dollinger and his work. The fact that you were editing from Gothenburg at approximately the same time Dollinger returned there from UBC suggests that you might even be Dollinger. Meters (talk) 23:56, 19 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

The fact that you also uploaded as "own work" pictures of Dollinger, his PhD advisers Nikolaus Ritt and Herbert Schendl, and a frequency chart from the DCHP-2 entry for "chuck wagon" File:"chuck wagon" DCHP-2 (Dollinger & Fee 2017).png are also suggestive of a COI.Meters (talk) 00:15, 20 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
Are you going to comment on this or should I tag the article as having been worked on by an undisclosed involved editor? Meters (talk) 19:42, 22 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Herbert Koziol

edit

The article Herbert Koziol has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability not established for this person

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
