Request reason:

I was surprised to find my IP address blocked, since I don't remember making any edits to Wikipedia recently. It appears my IP address was blocked due to sockpuppetry, but I know I do not have any other accounts. I assume my ISP assigns random addresses to its customers from a range, and another customer did so. In any case, all I have to present is my word, so I will not take it personally if I am not unblocked.

Decline reason:

Unfortunately, without more information (specifically, your IP address), we can't handle this request. Please follow the instructions here. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 12:49, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If it's an IP autoblock, you may have used the wrong unblock request ... (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:19, 21 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
It appears the IP block expired already. Sorry for the trouble. Should I go ahead and remove the unblock request from my user page? Montydrei (talk) 09:46, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Whoops, guess I was wrong about the block being expired. Here should be the right unblock request. Montydrei (talk) 16:29, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Looks like it is a large rangeblock. I'd be willing to give you an IP block exemption, if you are interested. That would allow you to edit through the IP rangeblock. Syrthiss (talk) 18:02, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

IP block exempt edit

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this newly-granted right to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a serious concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Again, please be aware that this exemption will be removed on or around June 12, 2010, when the block affecting your account expires. Hersfold (t/a/c) 20:35, 4 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

IPBE removed edit

Hello, MontyDrei. Just so you know, I've removed your IP Block Exemption as it appears it is no longer necessary; the block that was previously affecting your account has since expired. Should you still have difficulty editing, please let me know or post an unblock request as before. Happy editing! Hersfold (t/a/c) 17:00, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
