Francisco serrano, coyoacan 2005.jpg edit

Hi. Requests for moves belong on the talk page. In this case, there is already a photo at your proposed name. — kwami (talk) 12:19, 13 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. Don't you read your own talk page? If you place a move request tag on the image again I'll protect it just to get your attention.
Move requests go on the talk page. Also, apart from the extra space, the proposed name is already being used, and so is not available. Adding extra spaces to distinguish files is not a good idea, as that leaves them vulnerable to misreading. Please come up with a more precise name. — kwami (talk) 21:18, 13 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
kwami, Sorry. I had found a section in Wikipedia labeled “Made a mistake?” that says: Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Simply mark it like this: (actual tag here: rename|new file name|reason) and wait for an administrator or filemover to rename it –- this, I am sorry, does not specify that the command should go on the talk page. I understand your recommendation re the file name and being more specific – but are you saying that the request to rename a file (i.e. the tag itself) can ONLY appear on the talk page and NOT on the image page? Thank you. Montagnard27 (talk) 16:49, 14 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
When you preview the page it tells you that it doesn't belong there. Yes, talk page only. Looks like the img is tagged for deletion anyway. — kwami (talk) 21:58, 29 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
