Welcome edit

Welcome!

Hello, MonoApe, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Also, Global warming is only semi-protected; in order to edit it, you have to be logged in and autoconfirmed. Since you're a new user, you're not autoconfirmed yet: you'll probably be able to edit the page after 4 days. In the meantime, lots of other people can edit the article, so bringing up on the talk page things that need to be changed is exactly the right way to get the article edited before you are autoconfirmed. - Enuja (talk) 18:16, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: your comment on my talk page. I have no idea what to do about consolidating user accounts! However, a good place to get help about such technical matters is the Wikipedia:Help desk. - Enuja (talk) 19:38, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Anthony Watts (weather presenter) edit

Your comments are welcome at Talk:Anthony Watts (weather presenter)#Meteorologist vs. Weather presenter in article title as it seems you were the one who originally added the weather presenter description in the article which is now disputed Nil Einne (talk) 20:50, 14 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism edit

Wikipedia has a serious attitude towards smearing the reputations of living people. I would ask you to consider, if you don't like Mr. Watts, why are you editing his biography in the first place? Wikipedia is not the place you express your hatred towards Mr. Watts. On his qualifications, how on earth do you know what qualifications he has? If I told you he had a degree in zoology what would you say about that? Meanwhile, if a point is disputed, you discuss it in the talk page. I asked you to discuss it in the talk page, and you have ignored me, creating a great deal of extra work for me that I don't have time for. You have been overruled on the talk page by a number of editors who evidently share your bias. That is vandalism; as far as I'm concerned, anyway. Alex Harvey (talk) 11:55, 18 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
