Proposed deletion of Hyper Agency edit

The article Hyper Agency has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No independent references, unable to establish notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WWGB (talk) 11:47, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

January 2011 edit

  Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Comedy Dave do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jonobennett (talk) 15:37, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your links edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent additions, but I'm afraid what you've been adding is inappropriate for Wikipedia. The problem with the links you have been adding to articles is two-fold;

  • Firstly, Wikipedia is not a internet directory. The purpose of External Link sections is not to provide a list of links to where the subject of the article may appear on the internet.
  • Secondly, what you are linking to doesn't supply anything new to the article. All it demonstrates is that these people are represented by this agency. The blurb written up on the linked page doesn't say anything that either isn't already in the article, or couldn't be added to the article. Links should be limited to ones that link to material that can't be included in the article, for reasons of copyright, for instance. I don't see anything in your links that do this really.

Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 21:45, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
