Hello

edit

I work on musical-instrument articles on Wikipedia, and was pleased to see your new article, Dozaleh. I see that it was returned to draft status, and I thought I should offer encouragement. Your article addresses an important musical instrument and should be finished. The easiest way to get this out of draft status, is to find some books or other sources that talk about it. If you decide you would like help, please let me know. Jacqke (talk) 14:46, 11 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please help me thanks Mohsen Ghodrati (talk) 16:50, 11 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi again, I will certainly help. I had a little time and made a copy that I could work on without interfering with your article. user:Jacqke/Dozaleh I have to stop working for a while, but will continue later. You are welcome to take or change anything for your article. Best wishes, Jacqke (talk) 17:59, 11 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi again. This morning I focused on adding references to the text you have written for the article. I think it would be interesting to add more, but I am afraid of translation errors in the sources of information that are available to me. It would be good to get a clear closeup photograph of the instrument's reed-tip, or a description, because the photos aren't clear. I am going to try and put the article in the main space again (so that it won't be a draft). If you want to improve it further, I'm willing to help. Best wishes, Jacqke (talk) 18:26, 12 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Welcome!

Hello, Mohsen Ghodrati, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you created or edited appears to be an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page. If your contributions to an existing article about yourself are undone and you wish to add to it, please propose the changes on its talk page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! creffett (talk) 16:37, 29 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Doneli moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Doneli, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — Sagotreespirit (talk) 18:39, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

You can move it back to mainspace any time you're ready. Thanks for your contributions! — Sagotreespirit (talk) 19:05, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hi again, your last article looks good. If you keep working on this one, I will try to help again like before, if that is ok. I'm working today, so it may be some time before I can do anything. Best wishes, Jacqke (talk) 19:09, 13 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello again,

I inserted references into your new article donali and added a little content. I hope you like the changes.

I have a suggestion: Could you create your new pages in the "sandbox" (found at the top of your screen)? If you create an article there, then other editors won't move it to draft. New articles without good references aren't allowed to remain on the English Wikipedia.

You can reuse sandbox for each new article.

The way we have been working is successful (you showing references and me putting them into the text). When you have finished writing (and references are added) the page can be moved into the main Wikipedia. This should stop your articles from being moved or removed. Best wishes, and I encourage you to keep it up. I'm learning a lot about Iranian music. Jacqke (talk)|

Kuzeh moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to Kuzeh. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it has no sources. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Alexandermcnabb (talk) 10:45, 24 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
