The article Chester E Groth Music Co has been deleted, in accordance with Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion. There were two reasons for this. Firstly, the page was unambiguously promotional, clearly being written to give the reader the impression that Chester E Groth Music Co is doing a good job. Content of Wikipedia must be written from a neutral point of view, and laudatory or promotional content is unacceptable. Secondly, and even more importantly, the content of the page was a copy of content published on the company's web site, infringing copyright. It is almost never acceptable to post content copied from elsewhere to Wikipedia. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:33, 28 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Chester E Groth Music Co

edit

The article Chester E Groth Music Co has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of satisfying Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Sourced only to the company's own web site, and searches found nothing better.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
