"Fixed grammar"

edit

I would be interested to know why you made this change. Thank you.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 23:43, 29 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Even though "an" is sometimes used before "historic" it's non-standard Mnealon (talk) 09:13, 30 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'm still unsure of why you changed it, as it is not 'wrong' - are you approaching this from an American perspective? It was added to the article in 2020.
I would have used it thus (old school), have done so, and have been changed in the past (by a controversial editor, so not difficult to find).--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 19:01, 30 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

No, I'm British. But if you want to revert it I'm not going to get into an edit war with you Mnealon (talk) 21:25, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Likewise - I chanced upon another a few hours ago (de-Capped in the following edit) and I also watched TV where the narrator used it, think it was Channel 5 on Tower of London, a recent creation.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 01:08, 3 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
