Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. As copyright violation can prove a serious problem for Wikipedia (see the messages below this), I've checked your past contributions and will be reverting any similar violations not subsequently edited out by others. This is not intended as personal criticism - I know you've been editing in good faith - but please, take great care to ensure that in adding new material you adhere to legal requirements and Wikipedia's core editing standards. I've reverted only four of these entries so far (again, see below). Others remain to be dealt with, such as Milan. One of the most positive contributions you could make here is to check the links above for guidance, then go through your own contributions history and rewrite any entries/contributions that seem to infringe the copy-vio rules. I'll be glad to assist you in any way I can. Haploidavey (talk) 16:42, 31 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your addition to Vestal Virgin has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Your text is too closely based on the text of the linked site, which is copyright. Even assuming you rewrote your entry to avoid copyright infringements, I doubt if these details are relevant to this particular article. We have an article on House of the Vestals. Speedy deletion nomination of Tortona (Milan)

edit

A tag has been placed on Tortona (Milan), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia for multiple reasons. Please see the page to see the reasons. If the page has since been deleted, you can ask me the reasons by leaving a message on my user talk page.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Safiel (talk) 15:53, 6 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
