Thank you for your contributions to the Peace churches article. This article has recently been criticized for not including sources for its contents. Can you provide a source for the particular Biblical interpretation of the new information you added? The material is quite likely to be removed if there no source. See the verifiability policy for more information on the importance of providing sources.

Again, welcome! JonHarder talk 13:21, 16 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Christian nonviolence

edit

Good job on adapting quickly to the suggested changes and creating the Christian nonviolence article. I believe it is a worthy article. Your initial text will eventually need to be supplemented or replaced with source text. If the article ever runs into trouble for having no sources, notifying me on my talk page and I think I can find the necessary information. JonHarder talk 02:25, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Have you considered combing through all of the articles that link to "Nonviolence" and seeing if the link would more appropriately point to Christian nonviolence? Where there is no doubt that switching links is appropriate, there are two ways to do it. You can either change nonviolence to Christian nonviolence if that fits best in the sentence, or change it to nonviolence which changes the link but not the actual sentence wording. Just a thought. JonHarder talk 02:57, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Christian pacifism

edit

I have moved Christian nonviolence back to Christian pacifism. There was no consensus for this move. nirvana2013 (talk) 17:03, 29 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
