Use of non-free images

edit

Regarding your revert ([1]), I draw your attention to Wikipedia's policy on non-free content. Any usage of a non-free image must meet all the non-free content criteria. In particular, see WP:NFCC#10C which states that each usage of a non-free image requires a separate non-free usage rationale specifically for each article in which the image is used. None of the movie posters used in the film series article has a rationale for its use in the series article. Per enforcement of non-free usage policy, a "file with a valid non-free-use rationale for some (but not all) articles it is used in will not be deleted. Instead, the file should be removed from the articles for which it lacks a non-free-use rationale, or a suitable rationale added." Your revert is contrary to policy and I will be removing the images again. Note that if you are considering adding a fair use rationale to use the images in the film series articles, you will have difficulty meeting WP:NFCC#3 on minimal usage. -- Whpq (talk) 12:46, 5 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
