Hi @Liz, I'm trying to add Reynolds vs. Reynolds: The Cereal Defense to the category in question, which would mean it wouldn't qualify for speedy deletion. However, I am having some trouble adding it. Mjks28 (talk) 06:51, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Added the article needed to disqualify category for speedy deletion. 👍 Mjks28 (talk) 07:01, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Mjks28,

Participating in deletion discussions requires a thorough knowledge of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines and all of the varying different standards of notability on the project. It's not a matter of just assessing the article as it currently is but also an in-depth examination of the article subject which typically involves more than a Google search. I recommend you participate in fewer discussions but more deeply, at least until you have more than a few month's editing experience. It's a much more demanding activity than most other Wikipedia editing tasks except for writing an article from scratch.

I don't mean to discourage you with this message, just impress upon you the necessity of taking participation seriously as participants are helping to decide which articles are kept or are removed from the project. If you have questions about this, feel free to bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:19, 29 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
