MMA info

edit

Hi Mixedmartialartsfan1, greetings. I have reverted your edits on fighter achievements on fight tables. Since almost of your edits are on mma pages, pls see some info below which would help you on editing. Please note all info input need to support by independent, reliable sources such as from the press and not from UFC.

(A) Info on fighter articles

  1. "method" is as per sherdog.com
  2. "UFC performance of the night /fight of the night" - place on (1) fight table "note" section. (2) on body text (with source) and (3) on Championships and accomplishment section (with source).
  3. "championship" - place it on (1) on body text (with source) and (2) on Championships and accomplishment section (with source).
  4. "award - such as Fighter of the Year, Knockout of the Year and etc" by media or institutions" - place it on Championships and accomplishment section (with source).
  5. No "in work" or rumors bout is recorded until it is officially confirmed.

(B) Info on UFC event article

  1. When a bout is official announced by press, place it the info (with source) on the "Announced bouts" section (create the section heading if it is not there) under the fight card.
  2. When the "announced bout" shows on the UFC.com fight card (official), then remove the "announced fight card" and place it on the fight card table.
  3. When one of the announced bout injuries/pull from fight for whatever reasons either in announced section or in fight table, then substituted the the fighter name with TBD (unless it is announced the bout is cancelled), and (1) state the info on the "Background section" and (2) state it on both involved fighters' articles. When the injured is replaced, then (1) place the bout info on the "Background section" (2) state it on all involved fighters' articles and (3) move the match up to "Announced" bout section from the fight table unless the new match up has showed on UFC.com fight card.

Pleas visit Wikipedia:WikiProject Mixed martial arts for guidelines and info and sign up if you are interest. Let me know if you anything else I could help and check out info of the welcome message I sent on top of your talk page. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:27, 27 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Edit summary

edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Tonya Evinger. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:32, 23 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Just a friendly reminder

edit

If you remove a significant amount of content from a page, please explain why with an edit summary. If you don't, someone may mistakenly think the edits are vandalism and revert them. I believe that is what happened here, so I'd like to apologize for the misunderstanding. Thanks. Everedux (talk) 21:53, 23 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
