I want to write the truth. There is a lie on the page. Who should I contact? MiteriPanfilov (talk) 14:32, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
See WP:VERIFY. There is an report about you ,as mentioned above by Gaismagorm, so I suggest you take it up on the linked board. Also, if the account Stop the occupation of Karelia is used by yourself, you must declare so. Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 14:49, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

Hello, MiteriPanfilov. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Karelian National Movement, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. That Tired TarantulaBurrow 15:05, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

I didn't understand. Where can I write the truth and confirm it not only with links, but also with documents? MiteriPanfilov (talk) 15:11, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
You can suggest changes on the article's Talk page. Please provide reliable sources to support changes that you would like made to the article; this makes it helpful for other editors, since they can then add those sources to the article by using inline citations. This page spreads false information about me and my organization. After I corrected the information myself, I was prohibited from editing this page.
I have two questions:
1. Is Wikipedia responsible for spreading false information?
2. How to correct false information? MiteriPanfilov (talk) 15:45, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia does not try to spread false information; we do our best to make sure that all our information is reliable. However, there can be problems with reliablility when information is not backed up by reliable sources or if it is outdated. You can correct false information by contacting editors about problems with the reliability of the information by using the article's Talk page. Is this you?

Hi, MiteriPanfilov. Some other editors and I have noticed that another account, User:Stop the occupation of Karelia has also been editing the page about the Karelian National Movement and has been claming to be you [1]. Please confirm whether or not this is you; if this account is yours, please see our guidelines for appropriate uses of alternate accounts and how to disclose having an alternate account; if it is not you, please contact Wikipedia's oversight team. That Tired TarantulaBurrow 16:02, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

yes, this is my account. For some reason it was blocked. I don't understand. Why are you spreading false information about me and my organization? MiteriPanfilov (talk) 16:07, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for confirming that the account is yours. It does not appear to be blocked (please see the block log for your account). Me and other editors are not trying to spread false information; the information was likely just outdated and the some of the changes you made did not cite sources for the information. Please investigate this issue.
I'll give just one example
https://www.severreal.org/a/mozhet-li-kareliya-otdelitsya-ot-rossii-/32235862.html
This is the link on the basis of which the Karta with the article specified in the article is assigned to my organization
Stop the occupation of Karelia
Although the same link indicates the name of the organization Karelian National Movement and Oleinik speaks about this in an interview,
But not Kuznetsov Dmitry!!! MiteriPanfilov (talk) 16:19, 12 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
