Why was the resubmit button on the page? Missbellanash (talk) 19:09, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
How have you just now declined my submission and where is it?? Missbellanash (talk) 19:36, 28 October 2021 (UTC)
The resubmit button is part of the decline notice and as far as I am aware it cannot be removed. Your draft is at the the link in the post above; it has not been declined. Eagleash (talk) 01:42, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
Okie, thanks! Missbellanash (talk) 22:50, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
Why did you say it has not been declined? This text is directly above where you have typed!
All of this: "Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Eagleash was:
The item Draft:Valerie Broussard seems to be currently in the review process or undergoing development. It is not necessary to submit this user page in addition to that draft."
If it had not been declined I wouldn't have gotten the decline notice and wouldn't have needed to solve a mystery.
Missbellanash (talk) 00:22, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
Your sandbox was the item that was declined, not the draft. The sandbox was declined as the draft would take precedence. (Although the draft now seems to have been deleted). At the time of the original post, it was the draft which had not been declined as per "Your draft is at the the link in the post above; it has not been declined." Please don't submit duplicate items it often leads to confusion. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 15:32, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

What is your connexion to Broussard? —A little blue Bori v^_^v Jéské Couriano 12:15, 1 November 2021 (UTC)
@Jéské Couriano: Looking at the user's mainspace contributions, I'm going to go wildly out on a limb and suggest the answer is "about as much as I have a connection to Van Der Graaf Generator" (ie: "none, I just like the music"). Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 12:21, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Valerie Broussard

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Valerie Broussard, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. JavaHurricane 11:56, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi. I haven't deleted this, but rather I've trimmed it down to basic factual information, which is the sort of thing expect to appear in a worldwide, neutral encyclopedia. The Billboard citation, verifying a chart hit is particularly important for satisfying our notability criteria for musicians viz. "Musicians or ensembles (this category includes bands, singers, rappers, orchestras, DJs, musical theatre groups, instrumentalists, etc.) may be notable if they meet at least one of the following criteria. .... Has had a single or album on any country's national music chart.". Moving forward, the best thing to do is to start with source material, such as Billboard, Rolling Stone or another nationally prominent music publication on a similar level. Then write about what you see there and cite your sources. Articles that are plain, factual, and cite all content to verifiable content are far less likely to run into problems, let alone be considered for deletion.
