Don Thompson (racing driver) moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Don Thompson (racing driver), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources, especially since it's a biography of a living person. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. April 2022 edit

Hello Mishra18Hex. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Mishra18Hex. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Mishra18Hex|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 20:52, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page.
Please stop creating articles in or moving drafts to main space when they are unreferenced, or are simply about topics that fail WP:GNG

Please do not remove Templates for discussion notices from templates or remove other people's comments in Templates for discussion pages. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Mishra18Hex, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Mishra18Hex|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 22:37, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 05:53, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Kaltreider Motorsports edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Kaltreider Motorsports requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 21:00, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced biographies of living people edit

Mishra18Hex, I see at the top of this page you were told that Don Thompson (racing driver) had been moved to draft space because it had no references to reliable sources, and that this was particularly concerning since it is a biography of a living person. You ignored this concern and moved it back to mainspace unchanged. The point should have been made more forcefully. Until I added two databases, that article was entirely unreferenced. New articles are expected to have at least one reference on creation, preferably two or three. There should be no unsourced information in articles. And in particular, all biographies of living persons (BLPs) created after 18 March 2010 must have reliable sources, or they are subject to deletion. We have a process for challenging such articles, proposed deletion; Kirbanzo was kind enough to instead draftify your article so you could add sources. But it turns out you have created other similar articles. At a minimum, you need to add a source verifying the details of the person's career as included in the article, and if you have included a birth date, the source must verify that too. Unreferenced information in articles on living people is subject to immediate removal, whether it's positive, negative, or neutral. Please add sources to your articles as soon as possible. Ways to improve Ron Vandermeir Jr. edit

Hello, Mishra18Hex,

Thank you for creating Ron Vandermeir Jr..

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This article needs more references to satisfy notability for sport. What is needed are references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.
