Basic editing hints

Hello Miningpyropony! I've added a template with useful hints on top of this page, and I encourage you to read it. Reviewing your additions from the last couple of months, I've noticed that you tend to add text without wikilinks or other formatting (such as boldface), and that you've even overwritten correctly formatted text. This forces other editors to cleanup after your additions, for the articles to come up to the lowest acceptable standard. So while your additions have been OK on substance and language, and I would like to encourage you to continue with them, please pay better attention to wikiformatting. Stuga

Round Maple

Hi. I can't see how Round Maple has enough info to sustain an article separate from Edwardstone. The hamlet is part of the parish of Edwardstone, and there's not very much to say about that either. As you state, Round Maple appears to be in a hell of a lot of other language Wikipedias, but there is no significant info in those articles either. Ah yes. So the request is an automated one because of the numerous versions in other languages. Again, those non-English wikipedia articles do not contain significant information of note to warrant an independent article. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 07:44, 11 October 2013 (UTC)

Refactoring others' talk page comments

Was this a mistake? I've been a Wikipedian for over ten years, and removing the oldest talk page comments on my own talk page is a pretty common practice. (If I didn't, by now my talk page would be gigabytes long by now.) All the best, – Quadell ^(talk) 12:32, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
