Welcome!

edit

Hello, Milesrahimi, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Terry Neese Main Pic.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:48, 6 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Username and WP:COI

edit

As stated above, if you have an affiliation with the Neese campaign, you must declare it. If you are a friend or family member, you must declare this as well. Additionally, you may want to read Wikipedia's policy on using your real name as your username. KidAd (talk) 23:53, 6 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have requested authentication for my profile. However, you should apprise yourself on the policy on multiple edits. 00:12, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
Even if your profile is authenticated, Wikipedia is not the place to promote political campaigns. Please WP:AGF. KidAd (talk) 00:22, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Nor is it the place for political advocacy by way of edit warring. I have reported you for vandalism. Milesrahimi (talk) 00:23, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Again, please WP:AGF and avoid baseless accusations. Your edit here introduced an unlisenced image, an unsourced birthday, WP:PUFF content. Removing that is not vandalism or political advocacy of any kind. I suggest that you self-revert. KidAd (talk) 00:27, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Drmies (talk) 00:33, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • I don't know what an "authenticated profile" would be; maybe I should get one. Here are the problems. First of all your edits are bad and contrary to our guidelines about neutrality and verifiability. Second, you are edit warring. Third, you were threatening to file a false report against the editor who was trying to protect the integrity of the project. Fourth, your user name is an obvious problem, and I could have blocked you also for a username violation--choosing the username of a (somewhat) well-known person, who happens to be a Republican politician active in the same area as Terry Neese. Request reason:

An authenticated profile, done so by following procedural guidance as explained in WP:IMPERSONATE, is what I am referring to. Regardless of my being active in politics or not, I fail to see your precedence as to claim my report would be false in nature. The edit warring done on my part is completely in good faith. The information provided is completely sourced (less the birthdate, which can be mitigated). Milesrahimi (talk) 00:50, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Edit warring isn't chill, we don't accept good or bad faith edit warring. If you are in fact Miles Rahimi, you'll need to confirm that via email. Otherwise, you'll need to change your username. Also we won't unblock you just to make promotional puff edits to subjects you have a conflcit of interest with. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 07:24, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Terry Neese Main Pic.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Terry Neese Main Pic.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://jewishinsider.com/2020/06/in-oklahoma-republicans-look-to-win-back-states-only-blue-congressional-seat/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. – Muboshgu (talk) 00:38, 7 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
