File source problem with File:Henrymarquez.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Henrymarquez.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:39, 10 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 21:39, 10 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

How to properly copyright/license an image I uploaded edit

{{helpme}} I uploaded a photograph I took, but received the following notifications: {{di-no source|date=10 August 2010}} {{di-no license|month=August|day=10|year=2010}} How do I properly respond to these so the image is not deleted? I read through the special pages about copyrights/licenses but have a hard time understanding what I need to do exactly. Thanks for your help in advance. Edit the page now, and you'll see I've added this;
== Summary ==
{{Information
| Description    =
| Source         =
| Date           =
| Author         =
| Permission     =
| other_versions =
}}
Fill things in. In 'Permission' you should put an appropriate tag; if you want to release it under the Creative commons licence, put {{cc-by-sa-3.0|Attribution details}} where 'Attribution details' is how you'd like us to credit the author. Check Template:Cc-by-sa-3.0 and make sure you understand that you're giving permission for anyone to use it for any purpose. To just give it to the public domain, put {{PD-self}}.
Use another {{helpme}} if you have trouble.

Reviewer edit

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. -FASTILY (TALK) 00:55, 20 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Mark Piznarski edit

And where do you suppose the sources come from? The Source Fairy? I already spelled out that there are no sources in the AFD. "Keep but add sources" is the laziest vote you can make in an AFD; you're just passing the buck onto someone else. No need to get worked up about it. Articles for deletion is meant for people to discuss whether an article should be deleted. The great thing about these discussions is that there is no black/white completely right answer a lot of the time, but when people work together through discussing Wikipedia's policies and interpretations of the policies. I stated the policy that I interpreted in order for the article to be kept. You stated yours. And people are allowed to disagree, but it's a lot more productive to disagree respectfully. I do agree with you that Mark Piznarski does not have an abundant amount of sources out there, so no need to get angry at me. Thanks for showing concern, though - without concerned editors Wikipedia wouldn't be what it is! Miles Blues (talk · contribs) 01:58, 25 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
