Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jointer plane, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stanley. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Anarchism

edit

Hi LittleDwangs,

I saw your work on articles related to anarchism and wanted to say hello, as I work in the topic area too. If you haven't already, you might want to watch our noticeboard for Wikipedia's coverage of anarchism, which is a great place to ask questions, collaborate, discuss style/structure precedent, and stay informed about content related to anarchism. Take a look for yourself!

And if you're looking for other juicy places to edit, consider expanding a stub, adopting a cleanup category, or participating in one of our current formal discussions.

Feel free to say hi on my talk page and let me know if these links were helpful (or at least interesting). Hope to see you around. czar 03:13, 9 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Siânnise Fudge

edit

The article Siânnise Fudge has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not satisfy WP:ENT.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Meena20:53, 14 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Women in Green

edit

Hey @LittleDwangs! I while back I noticed your excellent work on expanding our coverage of English anarchists and I was just wondering if you might be interested in joining in on Women in Green's 4th Editathon.

There's quite a few articles in that area I can think of that could do with some TLC, if you're up for it (just off the top of my head: Olivia Rossetti Agresti, Marie Louise Berneri, Charlotte Wilson). I also just noticed that you recently created an article for Clara Gilbert Cole, and that looks more or less complete, so would you be interested in nominating it for GA? -- Grnrchst (talk) 18:24, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Grnrchst, yes that sounds interesting, I'll add myself to the list of participants though I can't make any guarantees about my availability. I didn't create the Clara Gilbert Cole, that was Madeleineog! — LittleDwangs (talk) 18:48, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Anarchism checking in

edit

Hey there! Thanks again for all the work you've been doing about anarchists in the United Kingdom. I've noticed that, although you're on our members list, you don't appear to have been active on our noticeboard, which has seen a recent upsurge in activity. In case you haven't seen it, here's a little update:

  • In the past couple years, we have brought four articles to Featured status, including the ones on Nestor Makhno, La Salute è in voi, The May Pamphlet and "The Day Before the Revolution". We're likely to get even more to this status in the near future, so stay tuned to the front page for some of our best articles on the platform.
  • A number of our most vital articles have been reviewed and achieved Good Article status, including ones on Gaetano Bresci, Camilo Cienfuegos, Joseph Déjacque, Luigi Galleani, Paul Goodman, and the Kronstadt rebellion. As these "vital articles" are generally considered among the most important on the platform, we aim to get as many as possible to GA and FA status over the coming years.
  • We recently hit the first milestone for our stub-expansion project, getting the number of stubs down to under 1/5th of our total articles. This means that the vast majority of our articles are now relatively substantial, as we expand and add greater detail to the articles that lack sufficient information. We hope to narrow this number down even further, so more articles have the information they deserve.
  • We just started a cleanup drive, in which we are aiming to resolve the problematic parts of our articles, from finding citations for unsourced sections to fixing up formatting errors. In doing this, we intend to make sure our articles provide the best possible reading experience, without unsourced claims or ugly tags littering the page.

If you want to keep more up to date with the project's activities, consider adding our noticeboard to your watchlist or adding your name to our mailing list. We'd be very happy to see you around more.

All the best to you, whatever your future plans are. Regards, --Grnrchst (talk) 11:27, 13 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

A page you created has been nominated for deletion because it is a biography of a living person that is entirely negative in tone and contains unsourced content, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create articles about living people that are entirely negative in tone and unsourced. Wikipedia has a policy of verifiability and any negative information we use must be reliably sourced, and our articles must be balanced. Negative, unreferenced biographies of living people, along with other attack pages, are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy may be blocked from editing. MrBauer24 (talk) 00:13, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand your nomination? The article is not a biography of a living person, it is a stub on a book by Power. It is not negative (unless you consider describing a book that takes an anti-capitalist, feminist stance as negative - see the references which also describe the book as feminist and anti-capitalist) and is not unsourced (it has five reliable sources, reputable newspapers, magazines and journals). — LittleDwangs (talk) 00:22, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thank you for your message to the user. I had already messaged the user about this in the above post. I am concerned the user may now be confused as they have been messaged by two different people regarding this. MrBauer24 (talk) 00:23, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am not confused @MrBauer24. I have reinstated the article. @Discospinster, the reason the article had no sources is because @MrBauer24 deleted them. I have reinstated the article as @MrBauer24 clearly misread or misunderstood the descriptor "anti-capitalist, feminist text" which is an accurate description of the book (see sources). — LittleDwangs (talk) 00:44, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi there @Discospinster. I'm a tiny bit confused why you draftified the page when there were sources listed in the page history. Was there another reason why you did so when the last constructive edit was less than an hour earlier? WP:DRAFTIFY says it is good practice that we wait an hour after the last constructive edit before consider moving the page to draftspace. The Night Watch (talk) 21:11, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I was concerned that there would be an edit war regarding the sources, whereas if it's in draft space it could be discussed and worked on. ... discospinster talk 15:06, 20 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
